Our client is currently seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist for an exciting contract opportunity supporting a leading Western Australian gold operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated geologist with strong exploration and mine geology experience to join a high-performing technical team and contribute to active drilling, resource growth, and geological programs.

About You

Geology degree with relevant exploration or mine geology experience
Experience within Australian gold operations (highly regarded)
Strong DD, RC and AC logging capability
Experience with QA/QC procedures and geological data management
Practical experience working with drill rigs and field-based programs
Strong safety focus with the ability to work effectively around operational teams
Clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving

Position Duties:

Geological logging of DD, RC and AC drill programs
Lithological, structural, and mineralisation interpretation
Drill rig supervision and daily geological support
Drill rig set-out and hole alignment using DGPS
Sampling, QA/QC management, and data validation
Geological mapping and field observations
Supporting exploration and resource definition programs
