An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and hands-on Rig Geologist to join a major drilling program in one of Australia's most remote and geologically prospective regions.

This is your chance to be part of a significant exploration campaign targeting a commodity that is attracting renewed global attention. Working within a close-knit exploration team, you'll gain exposure to a large-scale drilling program while experiencing some of the most spectacular and untouched landscapes in the country.

With endless star-filled skies, a genuine outback exploration environment and a strong field focus, this role would suit a geologist who enjoys being close to the drilling, thrives in remote conditions and wants to be part of a project that could deliver something special. The project is located within a highly prospective uranium district in the Northern Territory with extensive RC and diamond drilling planned throughout 2026.

About You

Degree qualified Geologist
Minimum 3+ years' experience in exploration geology
Strong RC drilling experience
Exposure to diamond drilling programs
Comfortable working in remote field environments
Physically fit with a positive, can-do attitude
Strong communication and organisational skills
Available to commence in July

Start Date: July 2026
Accommodation: Comfortable donga-style camp accommodation
Duration: Initial contract with potential for extension

Position Duties:

Geological supervision of RC and diamond drilling programs
Logging and sampling of drill chips and core
Ensuring QAQC procedures are followed
Managing drill contractors and daily rig activities
Daily reporting and database management
Assisting with geological interpretation and program execution
Maintaining a strong safety culture in the field
