Once you are registered with Mining Employment Services
Once you have registered with MES we will endeavour to identify suitable job opportunities for you. Jobs that match your profile will be emailed to you as they arise. If you do not regularly check your email, it is important that you inform us, as we will need to contact you by phone regarding suitable positions.
How to apply for an advertised position
If you see a position that interests you please follow the prompts to apply. We will inform you of any positive developments with your application. If you are not successful we will keep your details on file and contact you regarding suitable positions that may arise in the future.
Preparing your Resume
Your resume is an important tool in your search for a new job. It is vital that it clearly and concisely details your education, knowledge, skills and abilities.
The standard format is to list your work experience chronologically starting with your current or most recent job, with a brief description of your responsibilities in each job. It is important to also include education, software knowledge and any relevant training. Please ensure that you also include a minimum of two contactable work-related verbal referees.
