An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Geologist to join a growing exploration company and play a key role in advancing a significant iron ore project while also contributing to early-stage copper exploration projects.

Reporting directly to the Senior Exploration Geologist, you will be responsible for helping drive the success of the company's flagship Lodestone Iron Ore Project, located approximately 200 km east of Geraldton. A 20,000 m drilling program is about to commence, with continuous drilling planned through to Christmas, offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact on a rapidly advancing project.

This is a hybrid Perth-based role that combines office-based planning with regular field involvement as required. Rather than a rigidly defined position, you'll become an integral member of a highly experienced technical team where collaboration, initiative and project success are the priority.

  • Assist in leading and coordinating a major 20,000 m drilling program.
  • Mentor and support a junior geologist throughout the program.
  • Oversee drilling activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
  • Assist with geological interpretation, drill planning and program management.
  • Work closely with the Senior Exploration Geologist to advance the Lodestone Iron Ore Project.
  • Contribute to exciting early-stage epithermal Au-Cu exploration projects in Queensland.
  • Be part of a collaborative, highly experienced technical team where everyone contributes to project success.

  • A degree in Geology or a related discipline.
  • 5 + years' exploration experience (ideal)
  • Comfortable running RC and diamond drilling programs with minimal supervision.

  • Previous experience mentoring or supervising junior geologists.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

If you're looking for a role that offers autonomy, variety and the opportunity to work alongside some of the industry's most experienced exploration professionals, we'd love to hear from you.
