Our client is seeking an experienced Exploration Geologist to support ongoing gold exploration and resource development programs in Western Australia. This opportunity is ideally suited to a geologist with strong expertise in either diamond drilling (DD) core logging or reverse circulation (RC) drilling operations, including rig supervision and RC chip logging.
Working as part of a high-performing exploration team, the successful candidate will play a key role in the execution of drilling programs, geological data collection, target evaluation, and resource growth initiatives across a highly prospective gold project portfolio.

Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Geology or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in gold exploration and/or resource definition drilling programs.
- Strong DD core logging and/or RC chip logging skills.
- Experience supervising drilling contractors and managing field programs.
- Competency with geological databases and logging software.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote site environment.
Position Duties:
- Conduct detailed geological logging of DD core and/or RC drill chips.
- Supervise drilling contractors and ensure drilling programs are completed safely and efficiently.
- Monitor sample quality, collection, preparation, and dispatch processes.
- Maintain accurate geological records and databases.
- Perform geological interpretations and contribute to target generation.
- Assist with drill program planning, execution, and reporting.
- Conduct field mapping, sampling, and other exploration activities as required.
- Contribute to technical reports, resource definition activities, and exploration updates.
