KR17420 Senior Open Pit Mining Engineer | Mining Employment Services

Our client is an innovative and leading mining services company with a growing world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities, including iron ore and lithium.

They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Open Pit Mining Engineer for their world-class lithium project.

Job Requirements:

Tertiary level Mining Engineering degree;
Western Australian 'C' Class Drivers License;
Proficient in using Alastri software (essential);
Competency with major recognized mining design and scheduling software such as Surpac, XACT or similar;
High degree of communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Position Duties:

Routine operational reports will be required including but not limited to; daily, weekly, monthly, mine reconciliation reports, reserve block model/grade;
Prepare 24-hour mining plans and deliver the plan to all stakeholders;
Assist mining by prioritising daily/weekly tasks to ensure continued effective mining operations;
Manage the day-to-day relationship with and provide guidance to mine operations team;
Maintain and foster a working environment that prompts safety in all that we do, whilst also providing outstanding service.
