Our client, an ASX-listed Australian gold producer with operating mine assets in Western Australia and Victoria, is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Fitter to join their team at a gold operation in Western Australia. This opportunity is offered on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth and will suit a trade-qualified fitter with strong fixed plant maintenance experience in gold processing environments.
Job Requirements:
- Relevant trade qualification;
- Minimum 2 plus years’ experience in gold processing plants;
- Fixed plant maintenance experience;
- Elevated work platform ticket;
- Confined spaces ticket;
- Working at heights ticket;
- Forklift ticket;
- Experience working with Warman pumps.
Position Duties:
- Carry out planned and breakdown maintenance on fixed plant equipment;
- Maintain a working knowledge of site task instructions and procedures;
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed safely and in accordance with site procedures;
- Support OHS and environmental management systems;
- Identify hazards and assess risks before commencing work;
- Report safety hazards, environmental hazards, incidents, equipment damage, breakdowns and potential plant stoppages;
- Complete maintenance administration requirements, including requisitioning parts and materials, processing maintenance orders and recording labour time.
Experience
