An opportunity is available for an experienced Field Assistant to join a gold exploration team supporting diamond drilling activities in the Meekatharra region.
The role will primarily involve diamond core processing and general exploration support while staying at an established mining camp.
Key Responsibilities
- Diamond core orientation, marking and processing
- Core cutting and sampling
- Sample preparation, labelling and dispatch
- Maintain accurate sample records
- Assist geologists with general exploration activities
- Complete core yard and other miscellaneous field tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
About You
- Previous experience as an Exploration Field Assistant
- Demonstrated diamond core processing experience
- Physically fit and comfortable performing manual duties
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
- Current manual driver’s licence
- Valid Australian working rights
