Our client is a well-established and growing gold producer with operations in Western Australia and an expanding portfolio of exploration and development projects.
They are currently seeking an experienced Mine Geologist to join their technical services team and provide geological support to ongoing mining operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide geological support to daily mining operations.
- Undertake grade control drilling, sampling and interpretation.
- Complete ore mark-ups and geological mapping.
- Support ore block modelling and reconciliation activities.
- Provide geological input into mine planning and production activities.
- Interpret geological and structural data to support mining decisions.
- Assist with geological database management and QA/QC.
- Monitor orebody performance and identify opportunities to improve resource recovery.
- Work closely with Mining, Planning, Survey and Production teams.
- Contribute to monthly production reporting and reconciliation.
- Maintain high standards of safety and environmental compliance.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Geology or Geoscience.
- Previous experience as a Mine, Production or Grade Control Geologist.
- Experience within an open pit gold mining environment.
- Strong understanding of grade control and production geology.
- Experience with RC drilling, sampling, mapping and ore mark-up.
- Strong geological interpretation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with software such as Leapfrog, Surpac, Vulcan or similar.
- Good understanding of QA/QC and geological data management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach to operational geology.
- A strong commitment to safety.
