An experienced Resource Geologist is sought to join a growing gold producer and lead the development of resource modelling and geological systems as the project transitions into active underground mining.
The Position:
- Play a leading role in progressing the resource and geological systems;
- Review existing mineral resource, geometallurgical studies;
- Assist with developing grade control drilling and model processes;
- Working closely with resource development teams, exploration teams, mining engineers, and metallurgists, to ensure geological risks are known and addressed.
Ideally you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in geology or related field.
- Strong estimation experience, in particular OK, MIK and conditional simulation
- 5 + years' experience in resource geology, mine geology, reconciliation.
- Experience in underground production environment.
- Proficiency in software packages such as Leapfrog, Snowden Supervisor and Vulcan
- Knowledge of resource reporting and classification (JORC Code).
