Our client is an active Western Australian explorer with a portfolio spanning gold, critical and base metals. (MES) is seeking Junior Contract Geologists (1–2 years’ experience) to support upcoming RC drilling and soils programmes, with the first campaign expected to commence in March.
This is campaign-style exploration work, with multiple programs planned throughout the year for the right candidates.

- Start: March 2026 (initial campaign)
- Location: the initial program will be near Menzies, Goldfields, WA
- FIFO: Fly in/out of Kalgoorlie
- Campaign length: ~4–6 weeks per programme
- Ongoing work: Further campaigns during the year for strong performers
- Accommodation: Mobile camp (kitchen/shower caravan, tents & swags)
- Roster/Hours: Field campaign hours; long days typical of RC programmes
You’ll bring
- Around 1–2 years’ exploration experience, or strong recent field exposure.
- RC drilling and/or soils sampling exposure preferred
- A practical, hands-on fieldwork attitude and strong safety mindset
- Manual C Class driver’s licence (essential)
- First Aid (essential or willingness to complete)
- 4WD training desirable but not essential
- Full Australian work rights
Position Duties:
- Support RC drilling and soils programs under senior supervision.
- Log RC chips and maintain accurate geological records.
- Manage basic QA/QC procedures.
- Complete daily drilling and field reports.
- Follow site safety procedures and assist with general field and camp duties.
- Software exposure: Excel, QGIS, with potential exposure to Micromine and ioGAS.
