An ASX-listed explorer is building out an internal geological team and is seeking (2) full-time Project Exploration Geologists to support an active program at their project NE of Wiluna.
This is a hands-on role combining rig and office duties as required. You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team and play a key role in supporting day-to-day exploration activities.
Key Details
- Location: NE of Wiluna
- Point of Hire: Fly in/out of Jandakot (charter flight)
- Camp: Donga camp with Starlink connectivity
- Roster: 2:1:1 (flexible, may vary to 2:1 as required)
- Experience: Ideally 2–3 years of experience with RC and/or AC drilling
- Software (highly regarded): LogChief and/or Micromine
- Tickets (highly regarded): 4WD and First Aid
- Licence: Manual C-class preferred (not essential)
- Attributes: Strong team player, adaptable and proactive
Position Duties:
- Supervise and support RC and/or AC drilling programs in the field
- Geological logging of chips and/or core to company standards
- Manage daily rig activities, sampling quality and data integrity
- Liaise with drilling contractors and field crew to ensure safe, efficient operations
- Complete daily reporting, database entry and QA/QC checks (LogChief)
- Assist with target generation and interpretation alongside senior geologists
- Undertake general field and camp-based duties as required
