Our client, well-regarded ASX-listed gold producer based in the Eastern Goldfield region of Western Australia is seeking a Long-Term Planning Manager to join their team in the Perth office.
This role is offered on a 9-day fortnight at the Perth office with the third week onsite on a 4 days on, 3 days off roster.
Job Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering;
- Exposure to both underground and surface operations;
- Extensive proven senior leadership and financial acumen;
- Exposure to various mining methods and operating strategies;
- Ability to demonstrate practical operational experience and the application of technical processes;
- Competent using mining software such as Deswik, Whittle, Xeras, Datamine, and Microsoft Office.
Position Duties:
- Technical oversight of the medium to long term mine planning activities;
- Develop and maintain adherence to planning processes, procedures and standards;
- Lead, manage and deliver the annual Reserve and Resource reporting and Strategic Planning for the Operations;
- Prepare and deliver scoping, prefeasibility and feasibility studies for the Operations;
- Provide technical and financial expertise to identify improvements and generate asset growth;
