DO18548 - Fixed Plant Process Operators

Mining Employment Services (MES) is currently seeking experienced Fixed Plant Process Operators  for FIFO Western Australia;

If you have experience operating and monitoring mineral processing plants and are committed to working safely while achieving production targets, we'd like to hear from you;

This role is ideal for experienced Fixed Plant Operators and Control Room Operators with experience in  lithium processing operations;

Key Responsibilities and Duties;

• Operate crushing, screening and conveying circuits;
• Monitor SAG, Ball Mill and grinding circuits;
• Operate flotation circuits;
• Monitor pumps, tanks, cyclones, thickeners and pipelines;
• Conduct routine plant inspections and equipment checks;
• Take process samples and record operational data;
• Optimise plant performance through process adjustments;
• Perform basic maintenance and plant isolations;
• Assist with shutdowns and plant cleaning;
• Report equipment faults and liaise with maintenance teams;
• Maintain high housekeeping, safety and environmental standards.

About you

• Experience operating fixed plant or mineral processing equipment;
• Knowledge of crushing, grinding, flotation;
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot plant operating issues;
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in a demanding mining environment.
• Willing to work a 2:1 roster
