Our client is a diversified mineral resource company dedicated to acquiring, exploring, evaluating, and developing precious metal properties. They are currently seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Superintendent for their gold operations on a short-term contract basis, working an 8/6 roster for approximately 4 swings.

Job Requirements:
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate;
• Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable);
• Shutdown planning and management experience;
• Proven leadership skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence;
• National Police Clearance.

Position Duties:

  • Develop comprehensive maintenance plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation;
  •  Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define maintenance objectives and requirements, including initiatives to improve reliability whilst minimising breakdowns;
  • Oversee the planning and execution of site maintenance functions;
  • Lead, motivate, and manage maintenance teams and contractors;
  • Report on financial performance and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and environmental requirements;
  • Ensure maintenance functions meet quality and production standards;
  • Maintain strong competency with maintenance-related systems and reporting;
  •  Ensure familiarity with relevant mining regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
