Our client, a world leading lithium minerals producer with the world's largest high-grade ore body is seeking a Drill and Blast Engineer to join the team.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or relevant experience;
- Exposure to mining contract management;
- Proficient with Planning software such as ShotPlus, Surpac and CAD mine design software.
Position Duties:
- Producer drill and blast proposals and designs for operational and practical implementation based on the Long Term Mine Planning Engineer's concept;
- Monitor and manage all drill and blast related production statistics;
- Monthly review of drill and blast performance against targets and investigate any variations to budget;
- Liaise with Mine Production Engineer to ensure short term plans meet the requirements of the budget and forecasts.
