Minerals 260 has agreed an additional $200 million Franco-Nevada funding package to support development of its 6.2-million-ounce Bullabulling Gold Project in Western Australia.
Announced on 14 September, the package comprises $170 million in royalty funding and Franco-Nevada's intention to subscribe for $30 million in a future equity raising. Bullabulling is 65km from Kalgoorlie and 25km west of Coolgardie.
Royalty funding supports development
The $170 million increases Franco-Nevada Australia's gross royalty by 1.45 percentage points to an aggregate 3.90%. This falls to 2.75% after cumulative gold production from the royalty area reaches six million ounces.
The arrangement brings Franco-Nevada's total investment to $420 million, including $220 million committed in February 2026. It follows due diligence on Bullabulling's resource and pre-feasibility study.
Further financing announcement pending
Franco-Nevada will also contribute up to $100,000 annually for three years towards local community, education and environmental initiatives.
Minerals 260 remains in trading halt pending an announcement about a proposed equity raising. The $30 million equity participation is an intention for that future raising. The release confirms neither project vacancies nor a recruitment or construction timetable.
