Evergold Hits High-Grade Gold at Duchess of York

Evergold Hits High-Grade Gold at Duchess of York

15 July 2026 | Western Australia - Evergold Minerals has completed its maiden 2026 RC drilling program at the Duchess of York Prospect, part of its Mt Monger Gold Project near Kalgoorlie, with final assays confirming further broad and high-grade gold mineralisation.

The final batch of results included the highest-grade intercept ever returned from Duchess of York:

  • 25m at 3.47 g/t gold from 3m, including 1m at 52.74 g/t gold from 9m
  • 6m at 5.43 g/t gold from 29m, including 2m at 12.25 g/t gold
  • 2m at 4.46 g/t gold from 45m

The completed maiden RC program also returned previous standout intercepts including 22m at 1.80 g/t gold, 19m at 1.48 g/t gold, 3m at 5.11 g/t gold and 2m at 7.90 g/t gold.

Evergold said the program confirmed broad and high-grade zones of gold mineralisation, extended known mineralisation into previously untested areas and demonstrated that the system remains open at depth.

Why it matters: Duchess of York is Evergold’s most advanced prospect at Mt Monger, a highly prospective gold district located close to existing processing infrastructure.

The company said gold is associated with sulphide-bearing quartz veins, with pyrite, arsenopyrite, galena and sphalerite observed during logging. The mineralisation is interpreted as bulk-tonnage in style, with potential for higher-grade shoots within the broader system.

Evergold is now preparing a 10,000m-plus regional aircore drilling program across Mt Monger, with drilling scheduled to commence at Duchess of York next week. The program will test extensions and offsets at Duchess of York, as well as regional targets including Gladiator, Samurai, Hickman’s Find, Tiger Lily, Captain Hook, Crusader and Paladin.

For Western Australia’s gold sector, the result adds another active exploration story near Kalgoorlie, with shallow high-grade hits, regional follow-up drilling and potential for a maiden Mineral Resource pathway at Duchess of York.
