19 August 2026 | Youanmi, Western Australia
Rox Resources has signed a Native Title Mining Agreement supporting the continued development and operation of its 100%-owned Youanmi Gold Project in Western Australia's Murchison region.
The agreement provides an important framework for the project's relationship with Traditional Owners as construction, underground mining and processing infrastructure advance towards first gold.
Why it matters
Native Title agreements are a central part of responsible project development. They provide a structured basis for heritage protection, participation, benefits and ongoing engagement through construction and operations.
Youanmi development
Youanmi hosts a global mineral resource of 12.1 million tonnes at 5.6 grams per tonne for approximately 2.17 million ounces of gold. The definitive feasibility study outlines average production of about 117,000 ounces a year over an initial processing period of approximately seven years.
The project is fully permitted and construction is progressing, with first gold targeted for mid-2027. The development program spans underground mining, processing plant construction, power, tailings and supporting site infrastructure.
