Ore Resources advances Kangaroo Hills lithium studies with diamond drilling

19 August 2026 | Coolgardie, Western Australia

Ore Resources has advanced development studies at its Kangaroo Hills Lithium Project near Coolgardie through diamond drilling designed to provide metallurgical and geotechnical samples.

The diamond core will support expanded metallurgical test work, ore-sorting investigations and technical studies as the company evaluates potential development pathways for the Big Red and Potoroo pegmatite systems.

Why it matters

Diamond drilling moves the program beyond resource growth alone by supplying the physical data needed for processing, geotechnical design and economic evaluation. That work can shape mining method, recovery assumptions, product specifications and infrastructure requirements.

Broader program

Ore Resources has also outlined further RC drilling across Kangaroo Hills and its wider Coolgardie lithium portfolio, while assessing potential direct-shipping ore and domestic ore-sale options.

The company reported $9.6 million in cash and no debt at 31 March 2026, supporting continued drilling, permitting and study work.
