Mining Employment Services is seeking a Geology Technician for an underground coreyard-based role on an 8:6 roster.
This is a great opportunity for a hands-on geology technician who enjoys coreyard work, accurate sample handling and supporting a busy underground geology team.
About the Role
This position will focus on supporting underground geology activities through coreyard operations and sample management, while maintaining high standards of safety, organisation and data accuracy.
- Roster: 8 days on / 6 days off

About You
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, organised and safety focused
- Comfortable working in a site-based team environment
- Current driver’s licence
Position Duties:
- Core tray handling, organisation and coreyard housekeeping
- Sample preparation, labelling and dispatch coordination
- Assist with geological sampling and logging support
- Maintain accurate records and data entry
- Support geologists with day-to-day technical tasks
- Ensure safe work practices and compliance with site procedures
Experience
Previous Geology Technician / coreyard experience preferred
