Mining Employment Services is seeking a motivated Geology Technician to join a well-established WA gold producer on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth.
This role offers a diverse mix of responsibilities, with approximately 80% of your time spent in the coreyard and 20% supporting sampling activities and field-based geology work. Working closely with senior geologists and technicians, you will play an important role in supporting resource definition and exploration programs through high-quality data collection, sampling and core processing.

- Previous experience in a geology technician, coreyard technician, sample technician or similar role
- Experience handling and processing drill core
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Current C-Class Manual Driver's Licence
- Current Forklift Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Strong commitment to safety
Position Duties:
- Core processing, metre marking and orientation marking
- Core photography, RQD and density measurements
- Core cutting and sampling
- QAQC sample preparation and insertion
- Sample dispatch and documentation
- Collection and preparation of geological samples
- Data entry and geological record keeping
- Assisting with geology projects and field activities as required
