Mining Employment Services (MES) is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Officer to join an established Western Australian mining operation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional with mining or heavy industry experience who can ensure the safe, efficient and accurate management of site inventory, materials and warehouse operations.
THE ROLE
As a Warehouse Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse and inventory functions on site, ensuring materials, parts and equipment are available when required.
Key responsibilities include:

Receiving, checking and processing incoming goods and materials;

Picking, packing and issuing parts and equipment;
-
Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels;
-
Conducting stocktakes and inventory reconciliations;
-
Managing the storage and organisation of warehouse materials;
-
Processing goods receipts, transfers and dispatches;
-
Ensuring warehouse documentation and records are maintained accurately;
-
Liaising with maintenance, operations, suppliers and contractors;
-
Identifying stock discrepancies and assisting with inventory control;
-
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment;
-
Following all site safety procedures, policies and operational requirements.
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will ideally have:

Previous warehouse experience, preferably within mining, resources or heavy industry;

Strong inventory control and stock management experience;
-
Good computer and administration skills;
-
Experience in Pronto;
-
Experience using warehouse or inventory management systems;
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
-
Good communication and organisational skills;
-
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
-
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
