Mining Employment Services is seeking an experienced Senior/Project Resource Definition Geologist for a short- to medium-term contract with our gold mining client in Western Australia's Murchison region.
This hands-on role will suit a geologist who can plan upcoming surface drilling programs and take responsibility for the day-to-day coordination of RC and diamond rigs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate surface resource definition drilling programs.
- Manage daily RC and diamond drilling activities and liaise with drilling contractors.
- Work closely with the geological and operational teams to keep drilling programs safe, efficient and on schedule.
- Support geological data collection, sampling, QA/QC and progress reporting.
About You
- Strong experience in resource definition, mine geology or gold exploration.
- Proven experience managing surface rigs and planning drill programs.
- Sound organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
- S26 statutory position experience is desirable, but not essential.

- Short- to medium-term contract in the Meekatharra or Cue area.
- FIFO opportunity, with roster and commencement date to be agreed.
- Hands-on work supporting an established gold resource definition team.
