Mining Employment Services (MES) is currently recruiting experienced mining professionals for maintenance, asset management role for fixed plant opportunities with an established Western Australian mining operation. FIFO Roster 8:6;
These opportunities are suited to experienced professionals who can contribute to asset reliability, plant performance, maintenance planning, shutdown execution, team leadership and overall operational efficiency;
A senior position responsible for the strategic management of site assets, ensuring equipment reliability, availability and lifecycle performance are aligned with production and business objectives;
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing asset management strategies and improvement plans;
- Driving equipment reliability, availability and maintenance performance;
- Monitoring asset performance and identifying opportunities for improvement;
- Developing maintenance strategies to optimise equipment lifecycle and operating costs;
- Working closely with operations, maintenance and technical teams;
- Providing leadership and direction across maintenance and asset management functions;
- Managing maintenance performance against key operational and reliability targets;
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term asset planning;
- Identifying opportunities to improve plant availability, productivity and maintenance efficiency;
- Promoting a strong safety, reliability and continuous improvement culture;
Ideal background:
- Proven experience in mining asset management or senior maintenance leadership;
- Strong fixed plant and processing experience;
- Excellent understanding of maintenance and reliability principles;
- Experience developing asset and maintenance strategies;
- Strong commercial, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Proven ability to lead teams and influence key stakeholders;
