Our client, an ASX listed producing gold company is opening a new operation. They are currently seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead this operation.
Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in Mining Engineering;
- Knowledge pf various mining methods with demonstrated success in leading a professional team;
- WA First Class Mine Managers Certification;
- Competent using mine planning and design software - in particular Deswik CAD, Scheduler or Ventsim.
Position Duties:
- Management of production, geotechnical, ventilation and projects teams ensuring timely delivery of function outcomes to achieve the mine plan;
- Manage and review all technical projects across the operation to ensure they are managed adequately, meeting statutory requirements and standards inline wih the business strategies;
- Monitoring and enacting plans to improve daily performance of the mine;
- Propose, design and execute practical business improvements.
