Our client is a high-performing underground mining operation in Western Australia, is seeking a Senior Underground Mine Geologist. The site is in a strong production phase with modern underground infrastructure, a growing geology team, and a strong focus on orebody knowledge, grade control excellence, and safe, efficient extraction.

About You

Tertiary qualification in Geology
Strong background in grade control and underground orebody interpretation
Experience in underground deposits advantageous
Proficiency in geological modelling Leapfrog (MUST)
Proven leadership experience or readiness to step into a senior leadership role

Position Duties:

Lead underground grade control programs including face mapping, sampling, and ore/waste delineation;
Supervise and mentor site geologists and geological technicians;
Maintain and update short-term geological models to support production scheduling;
Ensure accurate geological interpretation of stopes, drives, and development headings;
Provide geological input into mine planning and production reconciliation processes;
Manage drilling programs (grade control, infill, and extensional where applicable);
Deliver timely and high-quality geological reporting to site leadership;
Uphold strong safety and QA/QC standards across all geological activities
Collaborate closely with Mining, Survey, and Planning teams to optimise ore extraction;
