LD18448 - Senior Exploration Geologist | Mining Employment Services

MES are seeking an experienced Senior Exploration Geologist to join a well-established gold producer with a rich history of high-grade production and strong exploration potential. This role offers the chance to provide support to regional exploration targeting and field programs.

Requirements:

Tertiary degree in Geology, Geological Science, or related field
5 - 10 years Significant experience in exploration projects and mining operations experience;
Competent working with gold mineralisation systems;
Proficient in technical writing, reporting and communicating of technical data to relevant parties as required
Strong communication, organisational, and mentoring capabilities
Current WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence
1st Aid training and 4WD experience (desirable)
EM and/or Section 26 certifications (desirable)
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Position Duties:

Plan and execute exploration programs including drilling, mapping, sampling, and logging.
Supervise field teams and drilling operations, providing training and mentoring.
Interpret geological data to generate targets and support 3D modelling.
Report results and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
