MPW signs two-year copper powder supply agreement worth about A$855,000

Metal Powder Works has announced a two-year supply agreement with Embassy Powdered Metals for pure copper powder used in copper infiltration. The company values the agreement at about A$855,000 and says supply is scheduled to begin in January 2027.

According to MPW, the agreement follows an initial order received in August 2026 and represents the company’s first sale into copper infiltration. MPW reported 23 orders during the quarter, including 16 repeat orders and seven first deliveries, while backlog was about A$1.3 million.

MPW said it is targeting installed capacity of about 800 tonnes a year in the first half of calendar 2027, bringing forward its previous timing from calendar 2028. The company said the expansion is intended to scale ahead of expected pipeline conversion.
