Parbo completes 54-hole aircore program at Mount Padbury

Parbo Resources has completed its second aircore drilling program at the Oddjob and Goldfinger prospects within its 100%-owned Mount Padbury project in Western Australia. The program comprised 54 holes for 5,460m, according to the company.

Field logging identified lithologies that Parbo interprets as deformed greenstone at a granite-greenstone contact beneath cover. The company said all samples have been sent for assay, with results pending, and cautioned that the observations are qualitative and are not an indication of gold mineralisation or grade.

The company said planned RC drilling had not commenced at the time of the announcement. The proposed Mount Padbury RC program includes two approximately 250m holes at each of GoldenEye and Oddjob, plus one approximately 250m hole at Goldfinger.

Parbo said planned diamond drilling programs at Mount Padbury are supported by $230,000 in co-funding under Round 32 of the Western Australian Government's Exploration Incentive Scheme. The timing of planned diamond tails is subject to RC drilling results.
