Patriot signs five-year Tassa exploration and drilling agreement

The agreement covers all surface exploration activities, including drilling, across 100% of the Tassa Community land overlapping the project. Patriot said the area includes ground hosting its maiden inferred mineral resource estimate of 31.4Moz silver equivalent at 52.68 g/t silver equivalent from 18.53Mt.

Patriot said Peru's Ministry of Energy and Mines had confirmed the project's Environmental Impact Declaration remains valid and free of observations. The company is progressing a drill permit application intended to establish a multi-year framework for surface exploration and drilling over the existing mineral resource area.

The company also reported that agreements with the Tassa and Pachamayo communities cover the entirety of its 100%-owned Tassa Project, including the Tassa 5 tenement. At Pachamayo, mapping and sampling identified alteration and breccia textures that Patriot interprets as the shallow part of an epithermal system.

Patriot's reported exploration target at Tassa is conceptual, and the company cautioned that insufficient exploration has been completed to estimate a mineral resource for the target areas. It said further exploration may not result in a mineral resource estimate.
