LD18422 - Field Technician (Core Yard / Sample Management) – FIFO 8:6

This is a hands-on FIFO role suited to candidates with strong experience in diamond core handling, sample management, and field-based project support. The opportunity offers exposure to a range of active project areas and the chance to join a business with significant operational scale, strong current momentum, and ongoing activity across its WA operations. They recently reported record half-year financial performance, while its Mining Services business also delivered record half-year volumes and earnings, reinforcing the scale and strength of the broader group.

You will work across multiple project locations, completing a few swings at each site before moving to the next as work programs are completed. This will provide varied exposure across different operations and environments.

About the Role
In this role, you will assist with the safe and efficient handling, storage, tracking, and management of drill core and samples, while also supporting broader core yard and site-based activities as required. The position would suit someone who enjoys practical, physical work, takes pride in organisation and sample integrity, and is comfortable working in changing project environments.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Proven experience working with diamond drill core and/or sample management
• Previous experience in core yard or sample management roles
• Current Forklift (Essential)
• Current Telehandler ticket (Essential)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
• Ability to work effectively across different project locations and adapt to changing site requirements
