Our client an ASX listed company a leading diversified resources company, with extensive operations in lithium, iron ore, energy, and mining services across Western Australia is seeking (3) x S26 Field Supervisors, to support field-based projects across environment & closure, hydrology, mine closure and geophysics at multiple site locations.
Experience required:
- Valid C class driver’s licence.
- Scheduled 26 – Certificate and BSBWHS411 / RIIRIS402E units of competency
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Field Supervisor role, preferably in an exploration environment.
- Cert III in Mineral Exploration with 2 years practising as a Field Supervisor
- HRW licence for forklift
- Provide First Aid- desirable (MinRes can arrange training if candidate requires)
Position Duties:
- Support a safety-first culture and ensure the Safety Management System is followed
- Proactively identify and manage risks in departmental tasks
- Make sure safe work procedures are understood and take steps to correct and follow up if gaps are found
- Ensure all personnel are properly trained for their work
- Attend safety meetings and help improve the Health and Safety Management System
- Supervise and manage contractors, coordinate meetings, and ensure compliance with company and legal standards
- Help the Exploration team prioritise work and manage sample processing to meet quality and timing requirements
- Oversee logistics, permitting, and procurement for exploration programs
- Keep the training matrix up to date for all field staff to ensure capability and compliance
- Support planning by creating and reviewing project plans to improve performance and ensure field objectives are met
- Clearly communicate geology standards and expectations, making corrections when necessary to maintain high-quality work
