We are seeking an experienced Geology Technician to support core yard and underground operations at a well-established Western Australian gold producer. This is a hands-on FIFO role focused on high-quality geological data capture, with a strong emphasis on safety and environmental standards.

- Core yard and field data capture across RC and diamond drilling programs
- Physical, practical work in a safety-focused site environment
- FIFO 8:6 roster based in the WA Goldfields
Essential Requirements
- Diamond core and RC sampling experience
- Current WA C Class manual driver’s licence
- High Risk Work Licence (forklift essential)
- Strong safety focus
- Ability to work effectively within a small team
- Comfortable with physical, field-based duties
Desirable
- Underground or open pit technician experience
- Broad knowledge of exploration and mining processes
- Additional HRWL (loader, backhoe)
Position Duties:
- Core yard operations including core cutting, jig-sawing, metre marking, orientation marking and core photography
- RC and diamond sample processing, including sampling, bagging, tagging and QA/QC inserts
- Conducting density measurements, magnetic susceptibility and pXRF readings where required
- Preparing samples for dispatch, including paperwork and coordination of transport
- Assisting with core handling, storage, racking and housekeeping in the core yard
- Supporting geological data capture in underground and/or open pit environments
- Maintaining a strong focus on site safety, environmental compliance and housekeeping standards
