Our client, a well-regarded ASX-listed gold producer, is seeking an experienced Mine Planning Superintendent to join their team in Western Australia’s north-eastern Goldfields region.

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering;
  • Extensive underground engineering experience;
  • Proven experience in leadership and performance development;
  • Understanding of mining and environmental approvals;
  • Competent using mining software such as Deswik, Ventsim, and Microsoft Office.

Position Duties:

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve the planning and production systems;

  • Ensure that projects are ranked and evaluated in an appropriate manner that is aligned with strategic objectives;

  • Build and maintain a high-yielding production profile through the preparation and finalisation of practical mine designs;

  • Manage target delivery and safety, identify, and plan short term extraction strategies, critical paths, and high exposure areas;

  • Ensure maximum return on investment by carrying out optimisation, design, and evaluation work.
