Our client is a proudly Western Australian–based, ASX-listed gold mining and exploration company operating a high-performing gold mine. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Fixed Plant Maintenance Planner to support operations through effective planning, scheduling and continuous improvement;
This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on fixed plant maintenance within a gold processing environment. You’ll help lift operational efficiency, improve equipment reliability and support production targets;
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fixed plant planning/scheduling role within a gold mining environment;
- Mechanical Trade Certificate;
- Pronto Experience;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage across operations and maintenance;
- Sound knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards;
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
Position Duties:
- Develop, implement and maintain short- and long-term maintenance plans;
- Extract, analyse and present monthly reports on plant and team performance;
- Monitor schedules and identify opportunities for continuous improvement;
- Assist with long-term budget forecasts and maintenance strategies;
- Plan and estimate tasks proactively to ensure maintenance KPIs and production targets are met;
- Establish and manage a consistent process for task planning, including procurement of materials, equipment and labour;
Experience
Minimum 4 years experience in Gold Processing Plants.
