An ASX-listed explorer is seeking a Project Exploration Geologist to join an active exploration gold program (NE of Wiluna). This role will commence on a contract basis, with a clear pathway to full-time employment as the internal geology team continues to expand.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on field role combining rig and office duties within a small, collaborative team. You’ll support day-to-day exploration activities and contribute to ongoing drilling programs, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent team position.

  • Site: Northern Goldfields - NE of Wiluna
  • Point of Hire: FIFO Jandakot (charter flight)
  • Camp: Donga camp with Starlink connectivity
  • Roster: Jandakot FIFO 2:1
  • Experience: Ideally 2–3 years RC and/or AC drilling exposure
  • Software (highly regarded): LogChief and/or Micromine
  • Tickets (advantageous): 4WD and First Aid
  • Licence: Manual C-class preferred (not essential)

Position Duties:

  • Supervise and support RC and/or AC drilling programs
  • Geological logging of chips and/or core to company standards
  • Manage daily rig activities, sampling quality and QA/QC
  • Liaise with drilling contractors and field crew to ensure safe, efficient operations
  • Complete daily reporting, database entry and validation (LogChief)
  • Assist with interpretation and target generation with senior geologists
  • Undertake general field and camp-based duties as required
