MES is currently seeking an experienced Underground Shift Boss to join our client. This role is offered as a 3 month coverage with the potential to go permanent with the growth of the owner operator gold producer. FIFO Perth 8:6.
Requirements:
- WA Shift Boss Ticket;
- Working at Heights, Dangerous Goods Security Card is preferred but not essential;
- A background running a production and development crew;
- Manual C Class Drivers License.
Unfortunately, MES can only consider candidates who have relevant experience and are either Australian Permanent Residents, have the necessary permits to work in Australia, and are currently residing in Australia.
Position Duties:
- Ensure underground mining operations (development and production) are conducted safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards;
- Facilitate the pre-shift meetings;
- Conduct all statutory checks each shift;
- End of shift reporting;
- Ensure the health and safety of all persons working underground and take appropriate action on any health and safety concerns.
