Our Client is a gold and nickel producer in WA and they are currently seeking an experienced Underground Training Assessor for their underground mine.
Requirements:
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s licence;
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment highly (essential);
- Qualifications in Work Health & Safety or related discipline (desirable);
- Proficient Microsoft office skills;
- Experience in maintaining health and safety components through INX programs;
- Interpretation and comprehension of WHS legislation and regulations.
Position Duties:
- Ensure operational staff competency through the design, delivery, and assessment of competency-based training;
- Develop company-wide, cost-effective training and development activities for high-quality outcomes;
- Provide, maintain, and improve training materials to meet national standards for underground metalliferous mining and operations;
- Operate in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements, actively participating in continuous improvement and responsible environmental management;
- Charge-up including Charge Wagon maybe shotfirer licence, Integrated Tool Carrier, Bogger and Jumbo (at a stretch)
