Our client, an ASX-listed Western Australia gold production and exploration company with a proven management team and a successful track record of developing mid-sized gold operations is seeking an Underground Mining Engineer to join their team.
Providing technical advice, planning and methodology of all aspects of the underground mining operation.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering;
- Competent using Surpac/Deswik;
- Mine rescue and first aid experience desirable.
Position Duties:
- Contribute to monitoring of all mine activities including ventilation;
- Input to the mine design, including ore reserves estimation;
- Provide rolling development and production schedules and other relevant information as required;
- Assist in development of mining strategies, priorities, programs, forecasts and budgets relating to mining requirements;
- Maintain accurate records and information systems for critical mining data including drill and blast, load and haul and survey information;
- Ensure mining contract data, mine schedules, drill and blast plans, technical and other reports associated with the Companys projects and assets are maintained.
