Our client, a successful Australian Gold producer, is looking for experienced Field Assistants to join their team at one of their Western Australian gold operations.
Your primary duty would be to support all aspects of resource development and exploration activities, including drill site preparation, sample collection and submission, and core processing.
Requirements;
- Valid C-Class license;
- Physically capable of carrying out field tasks;
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate;
- Gold experience;
- Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and a drug & alcohol screen;
- National Police Clearance
Position Duties:
- Ensure drill site preparation is appropriate for the type of activity to be undertaken;
- Use of GPS and Compass to set out drill holes and line up rigs;
- Processing of diamond core including mark up, orientation, cutting, and sampling;
- Accurate field data entry in LogChief, synchronised daily/weekly as required;
- Daily audits on field vehicles to ensure they are kept in good working order;
- Accurate data provided to laboratories corresponding to samples dispatched from the site;
