Greatland reports September-quarter output as Havieron development begins

Greatland Resources reported September-quarter production of 70,131 ounces of gold and 2,927 tonnes of copper at an all-in sustaining cost of $2,925 per ounce of gold. The company said it remains on track for FY27 guidance of 260,000 to 300,000 ounces of gold at an AISC of $2,900 to $3,330 per ounce.

The company reported sales of 71,901 ounces of gold and 2,714 tonnes of copper, generating net revenue of $485 million for the quarter. Greatland attributed the operational performance to strong processing throughput and completion of a planned 15-day maintenance shutdown.

Greatland said it invested $45.2 million in Havieron development capital during the quarter. The company said project commencement followed receipt of all secondary approvals required to begin construction.

At Havieron, Greatland appointed Lycopodium to provide engineering, project controls, procurement and construction-management services. Mining continued along the primary decline and conveyor decline, while development grouting trials were underway, according to the company.
