Ballard Mining said its updated Mt Ida global Mineral Resource Estimate increased by 56% from the February 2026 estimate. The update incorporates 125km of reverse-circulation and diamond drilling completed since that earlier resource update.
The company said the Baldock deposit resource increased 35% to 12.2Mt at 3.5g/t gold for 1.36Moz. Baldock contributed the largest resource increase, including additions to both open-pit and underground resources.
Ballard said its Mt Ida Feasibility Study and reserve estimation remain targeted for mid-2027. The company plans further infill drilling to support potential conversion of Inferred Resources to Indicated Resources and inform the planned study.
