MLG Oz has secured a new three-year mine-services contract with Ora Banda Mining at the Davyhurst Gold Project in Western Australia's Goldfields, extending a long-standing operating relationship.
Announced on 10 September 2026, the contract began on 1 September and is expected to generate about $16 million in annual revenue, or approximately $48 million across the initial term. Ora Banda holds an option to extend the agreement by a further year.
Round-the-clock services at Davyhurst
MLG's scope covers loading and hauling ore from nominated mining areas to the Davyhurst run-of-mine pad, recording ore movements, operating ROM-pad and crusher-feed loading, and maintaining surface haul and access roads. Dust suppression is also included.
The work will operate continuously, 24 hours a day and seven days a week, across Ora Banda's Davyhurst operations. It provides continuity for material movement and crusher-feed support as the gold operation develops.
Operational activity underpins workforce demand
A multi-year service term supports forward planning for equipment, supervision, maintenance and site-based operating crews. The announcement does not specify additional vacancies, but the continuous scope reinforces the ongoing labour requirements associated with haulage, road maintenance, ROM management and mine-site services.
MLG said the extension positions it to support Ora Banda's development and operational growth at Davyhurst. Delivery will depend on safe, reliable coordination between mining areas, the haulage fleet and the processing plant feed system.
