Encounter extends high-grade niobium at Emily and Green

Encounter Resources has reported further high-grade niobium results from the Emily and Green deposits at its Aileron Project in the West Arunta region of Western Australia.

At Green, infill drilling returned 19.7m at 5.3% Nb2O5 from 76.2m within 92.4m at 2.0% Nb2O5 from 74m. Other results included 33.7m at 3.8% Nb2O5 from 39m within 76.4m at 2.3% Nb2O5, and 45m at 2.9% Nb2O5 from 75m within 71m at 2.0% Nb2O5 from 51m.

Emily drilling also delivered 7m at 3.1% Nb2O5 from 41m to end of hole, 16m at 2.4% Nb2O5 from 93m within 67m at 1.0% Nb2O5, and 12m at 1.8% Nb2O5 from 83m within 62m at 0.7% Nb2O5.

Diamond drilling has now started at Emily to test the depth extent of mineralisation beneath aircore hole EAL1995, which previously returned 15m at 2.4% Nb2O5 from 44m to end of hole. The program will also provide material for metallurgical test work.

Encounter has completed more than 40,000m of drilling at Aileron in 2026 and plans a further 30,000m across three operating rigs. Work is targeting an updated Emily resource, Green classification upgrades and additional regional targets.

Aileron currently hosts an Inferred Resource of 120Mt at 0.77% Nb2O5, including a high-grade component of 26Mt at 1.7% Nb2O5.
