Tivan is nearing the end of its pre-investment drilling campaign at the Speewah Fluorite Project in Western Australia’s Kimberley, with further drilling still scheduled before the program closes.
In its 18 September 2026 announcement, the company reported 12,809 metres drilled this year and another 1,275 metres planned over the coming month. That would bring drilling across the late-2024, 2025 and 2026 campaigns to approximately 37,000 metres.
The work covers resource infill, metallurgical samples, exploration targets and geotechnical investigations. An updated Mineral Resource estimate is expected in early November, ahead of finalising the Definitive Feasibility Study and a maiden Ore Reserve to support a Final Investment Decision.
West Core and Strike Drilling are undertaking the Stage 2 program. MDM Mining & Civil is providing civil works and rehabilitation. Once drilling finishes, members of Tivan’s geology team are scheduled to move to programs in Central Australia and Timor-Leste.
For mining professionals, the update highlights the transition from field drilling into resource modelling, metallurgy and engineering. The schedule remains a company forecast; this announcement does not confirm a new recruitment campaign or a development approval.
