Forrestania Resources has outlined a short-life gold mining opportunity at Johnson Range in Western Australia, supported by an independently prepared Ore Reserve and a plan to use its Edna May processing infrastructure.
The company’s 18 September 2026 pre-feasibility study reports a Probable Ore Reserve of 308,000 tonnes at 2.88 grams per tonne gold for 28,500 ounces. Ore Reserves support the entire production target; Inferred Resources are excluded.
The study schedules approximately 11 months of mining and three months of processing within a 12-month project life. Ore would travel about 236 kilometres by road to Edna May, with total project capital estimated at A$8 million.
At an assumed gold price of A$5,500 an ounce, the study estimates A$60.1 million in pre-tax, undiscounted free cash flow and average all-in sustaining costs of A$2,905 an ounce. These are study forecasts, not realised results.
The mining proposal, closure plan and groundwater licence are in place. A native vegetation clearing permit remains under assessment, while key mining, haulage and tailings facility contracts are established.
The update gives mining, haulage and processing specialists a clearer view of the proposed work sequence. It does not announce specific vacancies or confirm that all development approvals have been obtained.
