GoldArc grade control strengthens Mt Stirling Well mine planning

A fifth batch of grade-control results at Mt Stirling Well has extended high-grade coverage, including the strongest intercept reported from the current program.

High-grade result feeds development work

GoldArc Resources has reported results from another 85 grade-control holes covering approximately 2,245 metres at Mt Stirling Well, part of the Leonora North Gold Project in Western Australia's Eastern Goldfields.

The strongest intersection was 2 metres at 69.7 grams per tonne gold from 23 metres, including 1 metre at 137.0 grams per tonne. Other results included 1 metre at 29.5 grams per tonne from 24 metres, 1 metre at 10.9 grams per tonne from 27 metres and 3 metres at 4.27 grams per tonne from 11 metres.

Widths are reported as down-hole lengths and may not represent true widths. GoldArc also notes that no top cuts were applied to the reported results.

Why it matters

This is the fifth consecutive batch to return high-grade mineralisation at Mt Stirling Well. The closely spaced drilling is intended to define ore boundaries and provide data for mining models, extraction scenarios, dilution control and production scheduling ahead of potential open-pit mining.

Mt Stirling Well hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource of 198,000 tonnes at 2.3 grams per tonne gold for 15,000 ounces. It sits about 700 metres south-west of Mt Stirling within GoldArc's broader Leonora North development area.

The grade-control work is funded by BML Ventures under a 50:50 net profit-sharing arrangement. GoldArc retains full ownership of the Mt Stirling and Mt Stirling Well mining leases, while BML is funding the program and working with the company on mine planning.

Next steps

The combined grade-control program has now completed approximately 27,537 metres and is moving through its final phase, with work increasingly focused on Mt Stirling Well. Further assay batches will be released as they are received.

GoldArc has also scheduled a 6,600-metre reverse-circulation program around the Mt Stirling deposits during August 2026. The immediate employment relevance is concentrated in drilling, geological modelling, mine planning and contractor-led development preparation. A mining decision or workforce number was not announced.
