Torque Metals reports exceptional gold intercept at Ritz Project

Torque Metals has reported an exceptional high-grade gold intercept from extensional reverse-circulation drilling at the HHH deposit within its 100%-owned Ritz Gold Project in Western Australia’s South Kalgoorlie district.

Hole 26HRC135 returned 11m at 456g/t gold from 122m, including 1m at 3,625g/t. The company said abundant visible gold was recovered from the interval and that additional QA/QC checks are under way because of the nugget-rich result.

A follow-up diamond hole about three metres away returned 7.9m at 1.37g/t gold from 146.2m, helping Torque refine its interpretation of a potentially sub-vertical mineralised structure.

Other new results included 2m at 8.06g/t from 282m outside the current HHH resource, 8m at 3.79g/t from 111m on the southern edge of the inferred resource and 4m at 6.90g/t from 46m in a shallow northern area.

Torque has two rigs operating as part of an accelerated RC and diamond drilling program focused on resource growth at HHH and Observation. Heritage surveys are also under way ahead of drilling along the Maynard’s Corridor this quarter.

The company recently renamed the broader Paris Gold Project package as the Ritz Gold Project, while retaining Paris as the name of its high-grade deposit.
