MES is seeking a Senior Mine Geologist to join an innovative and leading mining company with a growing world-class portfolio of mining operations across multiple commodities, including iron ore, magnesium, and lithium.
Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Geology;
- Hold a current 'C' Class WA Driver's Licence;
- Significant operational experience in open pit mine geology;
- Proficiency with Surpac or similar mining software packages;
- Excellent communication & people skills;
Position Duties:
- Oversee and monitor daily production activities;
- Grade Control management;
- Provide reports, information, and updates to stakeholders;
- Supervision and mentoring of junior geologists and technicians.
Experience
6+ years working in mine geology with senior level experience.
